ABOUT ME

I am a graduate of Computer Science from the Rivers State University, Port Harcourt. I am an Author, Teacher, Blogger, Computer Scientist, Publisher, Data Scientist, and Social Entrepreneur currently working as an Educational Consultant to the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB).

My quest to be armed with knowledge and skills led me to engage in different training and conferences, within and outside my field. Fueled by my passion for professional writing I founded the ‘Writing Dynamics Academy’, an online and offline platform that focuses on training writers in different fields of specialization. I am the Lead Consultant/CEO of Emwiz Consulting, an organization that provides firsthand professional training and advice in the areas of Education, ICT, Publishing, Human Resource Management, Business Development, Strategy, Finance, and Personal Development.

I made my debut as a published author in 2012, almost eleven years after I started writing. Since then, I have published over 43 books and several others still in the making. My fictions have been used as literary texts in several secondary and primary schools across states of the Niger Delta region from 2012 to date. I won the Orange Prize for Fiction in 2016. My short story, ‘Udara’ was shortlisted for the 2017 Commonwealth Prize. I am a compulsive reader, a trait I took from my father.

I am a member of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Science Teachers Association of Nigeria (STAN), Mathematical Association of Nigeria (MAN), and several other professional organizations. I am currently a YouthLead Ambassador, a member of the World Economic Forum (WEF), an SDG Goal 4 Advocate, and a Young Africa Leaders Initiative (YALI Network) Member and have conducted several projects across the country with several awards to my name. I am a self-acclaimed Christian and an OPPORTUNITY MINER and I am open to impactful collaboration.
