Emmanuel Owolabi
Student, Volunteer, and Social Media Manager in Babcock University, Nigeria
I am a purpose-driven medical student and the 11th Executive President of the Babcock University Association of Medical Students (BUAMS), passionate about transforming healthcare through a dynamic blend of orthopedic clinical care, digital health innovation, public health literacy, and research-driven community engagement.
As the Founder of EOhealth, I lead a public health platform committed to empowering marginalized communities through accessible health education and tech-enabled solutions. I also serve as the Pioneer President of the AMR Club at Babcock University and Chief Operating Officer at the Lupus Matters Advocacy Network Initiative, amplifying voices around antimicrobial resistance and autoimmune disease awareness.
My long-term vision is to integrate orthopedic expertise, digital tools, and grassroots action to enhance healthcare access and outcomes—especially in underserved populations.
I am a 2024 Millennium Fellow, recognized for social impact leadership in healthcare, and I recently completed my Entrepreneurship program at Nexford University in May 2025, gaining practical skills to design and scale sustainable health solutions across Africa.
I’ve represented student leadership at several international and national conferences, including:
- American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) Conference – California, USA
- Neuroscience Scientific Conference – Nigeria
- Manuscript Writing Hub Academy Virtual Conference
- And various student-focused scientific symposia across Africa
