Emmanuel Ventouris
accounting student and Tax Intern in Illinois
Emmanuel Ventouris is studying accounting and business at North Central College. A driven and resourceful student, Emmanuel is always looking for opportunities to take on new challenges and grow as a professional. He is currently interning at Sikich. Prior to this, he interned at Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in Oak Brook, Illinois.
Both of these internships have helped Emmanuel Ventouris foster the understanding and skills necessary when working in the financial field. Both roles have provided him with opportunities to execute a variety of diverse roles, including: preparing individual tax returns, preparing fiduciary returns for state and federal purposes, analyzing client documentation, performing month-end procedures, preparing cash disbursements, etc.
Much of Emmanuel’s early professional growth came from his time at Sam’s Club, where he served as a Photo Specialist for five years. From tracking inventory and processing orders to assisting customers with any and all needs, Emmanuel was able to cultivate an approach to business that was both informed and creative. He continues to take that approach to his growing career in accounting to this day.
Through these experiences, Emmanuel Ventouris has cultivated customer service skills that are crucial in developing and maintaining positive relationships with clients. He also is accustomed to working in very fast-paced and deadline-driven environments, which allows him to work efficiently under pressure.
After he earns his Bachelor’s Degree from North Central College, Emmanuel Ventouris plans to continue his schooling so that he is eligible to take the CPA examination.
