Emma Southward

Most often found sipping a soy latte somewhere sunny with her dog in tow, planning an adventure, or just generally avoiding being boring. After studying Sociology at the University of Auckland, Emma clocked up a few career miles before heading over to Los Angeles in 2008. Spanning Hollywood to Harvard, with a few red carpet pit stops along the way, she soon tapped her heels three times and returned to her roots in Auckland, New Zealand. Combining passions for business and people, Emma now works as the Strategy & Governance Manager for a global insurer and is knee-deep in her MBA. "There's little time to spare, she says "but that's what makes life tick: spontaneity, a dash of the miraculous, and a decent amount of comedy!" When she grows up, Emma would like to run a successful organisation, hold a directorship and go on a safari.
