Emma Wise

A longtime resident of the Midwest, Emma Wise enjoys staying active in her local community through volunteer work. Most recently, she served on the volunteer staff at the Midwest Food Bank in Bloomington, Illinois. Her work with the organization involved helping local agencies pick up food products for their respective food pantries during routine distributions. Beyond working at the food bank, she also recently volunteered at the Humane Society of Central Illinois in Normal, Illinois. Before these volunteer experiences, Emma Wise volunteered with the Cleveland Foodbank and the Geauga County Habitat for Humanity while living in Ohio, and the Crawford County Humane Society while attending college in Meadville, Pennsylvania.

Emma Wise holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and a minor in psychology from Allegheny College. Her undergraduate activities included serving as a teaching assistant for several professors. She also participated in a study abroad program at James Cook University in Australia. Early in her post-undergraduate career, Ms. Wise worked in the education system as a chemistry teacher at Central Falls High School in Rhode Island. Currently, Emma Wise is seeking a career in dentistry and has moved back to Ohio accepting a position as a dental assistant at Dentistry at Winbury in Chagrin Falls.
