Jay Emmert

Jay Emmert was born and raised in Knoxville, TN. He graduated from Christian Academy of Knoxville in 2012 and is now a student at the University of Tennesse, where he is majoring in Wildlife and Fisheries Management.

A Junior and the Treasurer for the Bass Fishing Team at UT, he competes for the Bass Team all across the Southeast in collegiate bass-fishing tournaments.

Jay has interned for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, where he sampled trout in native streams across the state alongside the agency's coldwater fisheries biologist. He plans to secure another position this summer with TWRA as an intern in the Fisheries department.
