EMMY EDO is a dynamic Afrobeat artist whose music fuses the rhythmic pulse of West African beats with elements of Afrobeat, hip-hop, reggea, afro_pop and soul. Born and raised in the vibrant city of Lagos, Nigeria, Emmy Edo discovered his passion for music at an early age, influenced by legends like Fela Kuti, wizkid, and international icons like Michel Jackson and lily wanye.

Starting out as a street freestyler, Emmy Edo honed his lyrical skills and melodic storytelling, developing a sound that speaks to the struggles, joy, and resilience of African youth. His unique blend of rap and Afrobeat melodies sets him apart in the ever-evolving music scene.

Emmy Edo released his breakthrough single “EZENWATA” in 2022, which quickly went viral across West Africa and the diaspora. Since then, he has dropped two EPs and performed on stages across Africa and Europe, earning a reputation for electrifying performances and socially conscious lyrics.
