Emmy is a seasoned data governance practitioner and statistician with a robust background in data management, analysis, visualization, and stakeholder engagement across multiple sectors, including health, finance, and private industry. He is a high-performing professional with extensive experience managing large-scale, complex databases and is skilled in SQL and various database management systems. With a strong understanding of database design and data modelling, he excels at troubleshooting and ensuring data integrity across systems.

His work has ensured compliance and the development of strategic solutions that support organizational decision-making and streamline data collection and processing, all while adhering to data privacy and protection regulations and best practices. Emmy is also smart and committed to staying up-to-date with new technologies and advancements, particularly in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, and data privacy.

He is a member of the Internet Society, a fellow of the East African School of Internet Governance, a fellow of the African School on Internet Governance (AfriSIG 2024) and a Wikimedian. Emmy holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Statistics from Makerere University.
