Emory Maginnis

Emory Maginnis is a native of Covington, Louisiana. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.B.A. in Banking & Finance with a Philosophy minor. Emory then continued his education of Economics and Philosophy at Oxford University in the U.K. Following his studies, he worked in London for a Lloyd's of London syndicate as an Assistant Broker before returning to the U.S. to resume his education.

Maginnis attended Tulane University where he received a Masters of Finance Degree. Subsequently, he moved to Chicago where he worked as a proprietary trader at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange before returning to New Orleans to work for Eustis Risk Management Resources, L.L.C. as an Account Executive.

Maginnis left Eustis Risk Management Resources in 2012 to pursue his own agency, Maginnis Film & Entertainment Insurance Services, L.L.C., with a concentrated focus on the film, entertainment, and support industries.

Emory Maginnis is the President of Film & Entertainment Insurance Services, L.L.C. in the New Orleans, Louisiana where he provides risk management and insurance council to commercial accounts.
