Emory has been acting since she was a toddler, and the moment she sat in a director's chair at the ripe old age of three, she knew the stage was calling her name. "My Mom had strong suspicions when, at the age of 2, she took me to see Annie and I cried so hard when it ended Mom thought I'd pinched myself in the seat! I didn't stop crying until Daddy Warbucks met us in the lobby and took me out of her arms," Emory recalls.
She grew up in Lafayette, LA and by the age of 15 was juggling shows at the local university as well as high school productions. By the time she graduated college Emory had almost 20 theatrical productions to her credit. In May of 2005 Emory combined her love of the theatre with her love for ministry and began a non-profit drama ministry, Dramatic Encounter. She relocated to Franklin, TN later that year and has toured nationally and internationally with two one woman shows and worship sketches. Emory has performed for churches as well as live events and conferences including LifeWay's You and Your Girl (2006-2007), Fuge Summer Camps (2007-2009), Fuge Winter Camp (2008), Collegiate Week (2009), Youth Ministry Institute (2010) and EFCA's Challenge Conference (2012).
Emory dove into the Nashville theatre scene in 2010 and hasn't looked back. She joined the talent roster with Sharon Smith Talent the same year and has steadily built up her on-screen resume as well. She had the opportunity to direct a new comedy show, How To Like Yourself, in early 2012 and recently stage managed RED for Blackbird Theatre Co.
