Hi, we are empat4sekawan. Before we introduce our self, let us tell you about the history of our team name. In Bahasa, “empat” means four, and “sekawan” means friends. But, in Javanese, “sekawan” means four. So, here’s a thing. We are four women and also four students that being friends in Sebelas Maret University. We use this name “empat4sekawan” because we want to imitate the “Punakawan” ‘s character in Javanese Wayang so that can be good indicators for our works here. We want the works that we make can give advise, entertain, give social critics, cheer the readers up based on truth and wisdom. The characteristics above are based on “Punakawan’s characters”.
