San Diego

I have a passion for women’s mental health and emotional wellbeing. I am a Commissioner on the Behavioral Health Board for San Diego County and just recently I started and Chair The First Women's Advocacy Committee for the San Diego Behavioral Health Board. I have also represented the BHB on the Children, Youth, and Family System of Care Council, San Diego.Having survived childhood abuse, postpartum psychosis, sexual assault, and an abusive ex-husband I enjoy sharing my story with the community in hopes of breaking the silence.Tragedy doesn’t mean you have to give up in life and I continue to prove this by empowerment through circumstances. My ambition is to both speak, and write a book on my journey, and how I uses the past to thrive in my future. Some of the issues I focus on: Postpartum Psychosis (an issue that it is highly overlooked in our health care system) Domestic Violence High Conflict Divorce Dealing With a Narcissistic Ex Co-Parenting Conflict Management Navigating our Family Court System Recovering from Financial Abuse Healing from Trauma How to use your past to thrive in your future and how to take back yourself!I have traveled the world and lived many places but I returned to, San Diego where I was born and raised, to raise my own family. I am a wife, mother, avid golfer, piano player, writer, website developer, social media specialist, crafter, and artist.
