Emre is an international legal advisor/process handler and Turkish qualified lawyer with 10 years of professional experience in legal industry with strong commercial acumen. Before moving to London, he was a senior associate and business development manager for one of the biggest law firms in Turkey. In addition to having vast international contract drafting, reviewing and negotiation skills, has a strong E-commerce, Internet, Data Protection & Privacy, Telecoms and general commercial law experiences on the IT, Media, Telecoms, FMCG, Tourism and banking/finance sector clients. He frequently publishes articles in the prestigious corporate sites and speaks at various national and international events. He is also the legal counsel to Turkish Direct Marketing Association and represents the entity at FEDMA. Within the Turkish DMA, he’s currently leading the `Data Protection & Privacy Committee` and under this framework, he’s working on an elaborate report regarding the draft legislation to be presented to the Parliament.

Emre is currently based in Istanbul and has studied L.LM on “Internet and E-Commerce Law at the Queen Mary, University of London and preceding his education at the same institution. He’s native in Turkish and fluent in English.
