Emre Calikoglu

Emre Calikoglu is a 3rd generation member of a family that is specialised on construction projects and building materials trade since 1933. He started his business life in 1987, the same time with his university education.

After acting as an executive and manager in various companies and projects that is led by his late grandfather and his father and completing his studies at Marmara University Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences Management Programme, he has become CEO at Alfa Group in 1994.

As a result of the expansion to international markets and investments through newly set-up foreign subsidiaries, the combined turnover of the group companies has increased in the last 15 years 41-fold to 120 million dollars in 2010.

With 145 personnel operating in 11 countries in Turkey's intitiative taking construction and exim companies Alfa Group has completed various projects and investments in China, Iraq, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Russia, Hong Kong, USA, Germany, Israel, Malaysia, India, the Ukraine, UAE and Saudi Arabia.
