Eric Muench

I am a 21 year old ambitious college senior. I study Civil & Environmental Engineering at UMass Amherst, and am looking to pursue my Masters in Environmental Engineering. I am the youngest of three brothers and live in Medway, MA. I enjoy participating in sports such as soccer, tennis, golf and basketball. I also enjoying watching sports, especially the NFL and NHL.

My characteristic that separates me from the rest is my insane love of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! As you can see from my cover photo, I am a gigantic Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and I am an equally as intense Pittsburgh Penguins fan. My father grew up in Pittsburgh and also worked there for about 10 years. My two brothers and I were all born in Pittsburgh and I want to move back upon graudation.

My interest in the Environmental Engineering field focuses on the treatement and distribution of potable water. Clean water in invaluable to human life, which is why I am so interested in working in this field. Whether working in wastewater treatment or pipeline design, I will be 100% behing my cause. I will look to attend graudate school on the East coast, and will enter the workforce after completing my masters program.
