EMMANUEL BERNARD MUZINGWANI

Emmanuel is passionate about renewable energy, productive use of energy, energy access and poverty alleviation, sustainability, climate action , mitigation and adaptation, energy resources management, energy, climate policy design, low carbon emission transport (Emobility/EVs pre-feasibility, feasibility studies/ strategy/policy/project/programme developments).He possesses expertise in energy strategy/roadmap and implementation, International development partner’s resource mobilisation, renewable energy projects and programme structuring, stakeholders’ mapping and engagement in support of government, the private sector and International Organisations.

He has a proven track record in providing high-level (national, international) services through working with UNDP Zimbabwe, UNDP Namibia (formulation of GCF and GEF funded climate resilience and adaptation Projects and Programmes), Namibia Energy Institute, Hanns Seidel Foundation and UNICEF Zimbabwe Office in energy, climate, sustainability

He has provided renewable energy advisory, and technical assistance through energy policy design, energy efficiency strategy formulation.

A United Nations, Geneva Graduate Study Programme Alumni, he was immersed into the functions of the United Nations, paying special attention to multilateralism. He is building a multi-displinary career in International development diplomacy with a special interest in renewable energy and climate diplomacy/partnerships, digital diplomacy and human rights. Emmanuel is a former Researcher at the Hanns Seidel Foundation. His work focused on key thematic areas that range from human rights, rule of law, democracy, good governance, sustainable economic development, human security and the 2019 Namibia Presidential and Parliamentary elections. He worked collaboratively with the Namibia Institute for Democracy focusing on civic engagement. He holds a Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Political Science . He had the opportunity to be mentored at the Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy hence earning an Executive Certificate in Diplomacy, Protocol, Etiquette , Grooming and Professional Branding.
