I spend my day implementing the tech that powers the world today and spend my evenings tinkering with the tech that might power it tomorrow. There is a strong correlation between my happiness and my productivity. I am a total introvert but after a few years of overseas community service and programs like Dale Carnegie and Toastmasters I have become a well rounded communicator. When I buy something, I usually spend a ton of time researching the pros/cons of all the options so I get the perfect fit for my needs. I was a quiet 4.6 gpa kid in High School but in the real world I find most of my success actually comes more from my exceptional critical thinking rather than raw intelligence. For some reason my Dad didn't pass the traditional "sports fanatic" gene on to his 3 boys which I am the oldest of, but I do like any kind of Martial Arts and am proud of being a brown belt in Shotokan Karate. I love the outdoors and was a Boy Scout Leader for a while but just between you and me, I would much rather sleep in my own bed when the sun goes down. I love self-improvement and have finished endless audiobooks over the years of listening while driving. Helping people achieve their goals makes me feel satisfied and I occasionally dream of doing motivational speaking or personal coaching someday. Politically, I believe you have the right to do whatever you want even if I don't agree with it, as long as it doesn't harm others. I buy organic and recycle when I can. I am very tactful and empathetic but don't ask me something if you don't want to know the truth. I have no problems breaking with traditions that don't hurt anyone and tend to drive as fast as is safe...what do YOU do at a red light late at night where no one is around and it never turns green?
