Born Clifton Harris, EndQuote comes from a musical family including a father who plays the saxophone and his Inland Empire known mc Sly Boogy who happens to be EndQuote's cousin. EndQuote was born and raised in the Inland Empire and his roots with music started with words. In high school EndQuote began writing poetry as a vengeance to defend himself against those who turned against him. Once he was called into the deans office for a poem he wrote that quickly spread all over campus and caused tons of commotion, he then realized how powerful of a gift he had with words. From there the live performances began all over southern California. EndQuote also had a short lived high school and junior college basketball career which he soon after turned to performing arts full time. Performing at places like "A mic and dim lights" in Pomona, CA and "Da Poetry Lounge" in Los Angeles, EndQuote was not completely confident with how his message was being conveyed. So he turned to music. The first of which was a producer who went by April 7th artwork is where EndQuote begin learning how to rhyme over music which had its challenges. He then went on to work with other Inland Empire producers and locally release mixtapes and singles. By 2005 EndQuote decided to produce himself. Although he worked a full time job he made time for music and completed a host of albums with different artist. By 2008 EndQuote formed a group known as DiverseSoul who released their debut mixtape "Birthplace" which was the first product EndQuote released on ITunes. Shortly after in 2010 EndQuote released Quiessence, with his group DiverseSoul. Currently, EndQuote works independently, and now produces, writes, and manages artist.
