Dedicated to public service, Enealia Nau has 14 years of experience as an attorney and 27 years of experience as an educator. She received her B.A. in Education from Hunter College of The City University of New York (CUNY) and her M.A. in Education from Queens College, CUNY. Enealia Nau completed her Certificate in Educational Administration in 1987. She finished the requirements for her J.D. in 1993 at Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, New Jersey. Enealia Nau established her first legal practice in 1997, in Brooklyn, New York, with the goal of fostering positive change in the local community. Her efforts have focused on helping community members purchase homes and open businesses. One of her clients recently transformed his bodega into a large, thriving grocery store. In 2000, President Clinton presented Ms. Nau with a grant in the amount of $100,000 so that she could open her legal practice in Brooklyn. In his remarks, Clinton thanked her for her "wonderful words" and "the power of [her] example." Nau was recognized by the U.S. Small Business Administration office as a leader in helping people with the American dream. Ms. Nau never accepted the grant but built her practice the old fashioned way, with hard work. In 2004, Enealia Nau founded NauCorp Properties, Inc. to meet the real estate demands of the Brooklyn community. Still committed to helping people achieve their goals of home ownership, she often donates her time, giving free First-Time Home Buyer seminars on behalf of the Pratt Area Community Council and the Bedford Central Community Development Corporation. Keenly aware of the inexperience of first time home buyers, Enealia Nau provides a wealth of topical information about these subjects on the NauCorp Properties, Inc. website. Articles include such subjects as “6 Creative Ways to Afford a Home” and “10 Questions to Ask Your Lender.”
