Eneisy Rodriguez

Eneisy Rodriguez is a multimedia journalist, dancer and sports enthusiast. She is a telecommunication undergrad and Teacher Assistant at the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications,with a dance concentration. She is currently a health anchor and reporter for the PBS affiliate in North Central Florida, WUFT-TV. She is also a sports writer intern for Collegespun.com and works for GatorVision.

Eneisy's telecommunication career started at UF, as a broadcaster for the Radio Reading Service. A station for the visually impaired in North Central Florida. She read sports and news stories.

Eneisy later covered news stories for the NPR affiliate, WUFT-FM.

Being billingual, opened the opportunity for Eneisy to be a news and sports anchor for the Spanish segment of WUFT-FM, Noticias. She had the opportunity to interview Former Miami Heat player Mike Miller and NBC meteorologist John Morales and others.

She later discovered that she wanted to focus more on sports rather then news. She started volunteering for GatorVision, working camera at games, gripping, going to media availibilities, doing highlights and more.

Eneisy also became a radio personality for ESPN radio 800/900. She did live hourly updates on Gator and professional sports. At her time in this station, she was also on the gymnastics beat.

When Eneisy is not on the field, she enjoys playing sports. She's a part of the UF's gymnastics club and plays intramural competitive basketball. She was a part of her high school tennis team, therefore she loves playing tennis for fun here in college.

Eneisy is extremely passionate about dance. She's a dancer, choreographer and Historian for the UF dance team, Dancin' Gators. She performs at the Phillip Center, Homecoming Parade, competes in talent competitions and more.

She also enjoys being involved in the community. She's UF's Relay for Life Activities and Entertainment Co-chair, a dancer for Dance Marathon and a part of the March for Babies staff.

Her ultimate career goal is to become a sports anchor and reporter in Miami and dance for the Miami Heat dancers. She would love to focus on the NBA and college hoops.
