Eneko JON Bilbao

Eneko is a technology leader with over 20 years of experience delivering large-scale enterprise transformation across cloud, ERP, and modern application architectures. He is currently Head of Specialist Solutions Architecture at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he leads teams responsible for guiding organisations through complex migration and modernisation initiatives across SAP, VMware, Oracle, mainframe, Microsoft workloads, as well as databases and analytics platforms.

At AWS, Eneko leads the application of AI-driven approaches to enterprise modernisation, helping customers accelerate the transformation of legacy systems using generative AI and automation. His team focuses on combining traditional migration strategies with emerging AI capabilities to reduce time, cost, and risk in modernising large-scale workloads, while enabling new data and AI-driven business models.

In addition to his role at AWS, Eneko was the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Mums Matter Psychology, a specialised perinatal mental health service, which he helped scale and successfully exit. In this role, he led the organisation’s technology strategy, platform development, and data-driven service delivery model within a highly regulated healthcare environment.

Eneko’s career spans major global ERP and transformation programs across Australia and Southeast Asia, with experience covering the full lifecycle from strategy and business case development through to delivery and operational optimisation. He is particularly focused on bridging traditional enterprise systems with modern cloud-native and AI-enabled architectures, enabling organisations to evolve without disruption.

His areas of expertise include cloud architecture, enterprise modernisation, AI-enabled transformation, SAP and ERP strategy, distributed systems design, and data and analytics platforms. He is passionate about applying emerging technologies to solve complex business and societal challenges at scale.
