“I’ve always been afraid of how the world perceives me through the words I write and speak. This body feels unreal, but the thoughts almost tangible.”
The pseudonym Engel Berry was inspired by the name of Engelbert Humperdinck, whose music my grandfather used to listen to during my early years. I have a vague memory of my past due to certain histories I had, but a part of my youth’s breezy morning is strongly associated with music and the warm bathe of the rising sun in my childhood livingroom.
I’m eternally trapped in my own nostalgia, and I sail forth with a vessel I work to love.
