The DMS engine room simulator was developed for marine engineering crew. And this marine engineering simulator can provide the hands-on experience in watch-keeping, troubleshooting and resource management. This engine room simulatoris an ideal solution for training centers, academies, governmental authorities, shipping companies and crewing agencies. The DMS marine engineering simulator is designed to train and assess the competence of marine engineering department personnel. These crew include officers in charge of an engineering watch, for example, 3rd engineers, 2nd engineers, 1st engineers and chief engineers. And also it is also suitable for ratings forming part of engineering watch. DMU-tech tailor our customers training facility to their specific needs and develop training programs to meet clients’ goals. This gives a new level of realism, as crew can train on the identical equipment that they will later operate onboard vessels or ships.

The DMS engine room simulator cover the essential maritime training areas in full compliance with STCW 2010 requirements. And also it is designed to meet IMO Conventions and Resolutions requirements and IEC standards; And the simulator for VLCC is approved by DNV (Standard for Certification of Maritime Simulators).

As a full mission engine room simulator, DMS can provide an exact, detailed copy of vessel systems and simulates machinery and engine room compartments. Hence, it can accomplish all the request training mission from STCW. Of course, a desktop type(software type) can be also provided as an option.

Clients can get a total hardware type simulator, which will lead to a max immersive simulation effect. Therefore it will result in a perfect training result. It just looks like a replica of engine control room, main switchboard and engine room compartments. These hardware includes system dynamic screen (or touch screen), control console, switchboard panels, local control panel and so on.
