Dianne Gamage

Dianne GAMAGE graduated from University of New England in Australia. Holds degrees in Master of Linguistics (TESOL), Master of Education, Bachelor of Arts (Sociology), Graduate Certificate in Asian Studies, Diploma in Education. Her emphasis is in providing authentic learning experiences for EAL students integrating technology, global issues within the IB classroom started several years ago. Since then she has designed, written and implemented curriculum programs for EAL, ESP in Australia, Laos, Cambodia, Japan and Indonesia. In Australia she has given numerous teacher workshops on Cultural Sensitivity in Language Learning for AETA. In 2005, she developed and implemented teaching training workshops on Teaching Methodology in Cambodia. In 2008, she established the NGO Lotus Educational Fund Ltd in an effort to provided educational opportunities for ethnic girls in Laos. From 2008-10, she developed and implemented an academic writing program for post-graduate students in Laos for the University of Queensland. For the past 3 years she has been an online ESL teacher volunteer with Alliance. She is currently works as Head of EAL at Sinarmas World Academy in Indonesia.
