Ahsan Iqbal

I have just recently earned B.E. degree in the field of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering from NUST (the best engineering university in Pakistan) and I find myself in a time when my country holds all sorts of challenges and oppurtunities for me.

Professional Experience:

Internship at International Industries Limited (June – July) 2011

 Time Study of Galvanizing Process:
• Processed engineering calculations to improved efficiency – Studying and improving the production parameters for company: time, speed, cost, motion & method.
• Made report on project status to the management, conceptual design as well as process development
• Calculated the production accuracy, yield and testing equipment to originate corrective actions.
• Prepared work plans and forecast of production/industrial equipment for management reviews and control.

 MTTR & MTBF analysis of Galvanizing Plant:

 Feasibility study for installing Reverse Osmosis plant

Internship at Afroze Textile Ltd. (June – July) 2010

 Monitored production tables, studied industry engineering specifications to obtain knowledge of production methods and techniques.

 Monitored and organized the workflow schedules according to manufacturing sequences and standard lead time of production operations.

 Study of Procurement Planning processes

Final Year Project at IIL (Nov 2011 – June 2012)
Process Improvement of Pipe Manufacturing Using Appropriate Quality Tools
• Study was conducted on 3 categories of pipes with different diameters
• Results indicated a saving of approximately Rs. 175 million by our recommended process parameters
