Oi! Eu sou Tommy Cleary. I teach English to Brazilians.

I primarily use the Oxford Picture Dictionary. It focuses on teaching through pictures. I supplement this main book with several online resources.

In addition to the book and websites I focus on conversation. The best way to learn any language is to constantly speak in that language. For this I get to know a student and select news articles or topics you like and then we have a chat about it.

I charge $20 per hour.

First time students get their first two classes free, provided they purchase the Oxford Picture Dictionary for $30. It is a book that can be kept and used whether or not we continue with our lessons.

We can have lessons in person or through Skype.

WHO I AM:

I was born in Sao Paulo, but raised in Tampa, Florida. I am currently in school to be a daycare teacher and one day the owner of a daycare. Teaching is a passion of mine. I absolutely love helping people learn.
