Enih Gil'ead

Enih Gil'ead is a Brazilian from the state of Paraná, south of Brazil, born in 1953-? and is an experienced translator English > Portuguese > English as well as Biblical Hebrew > Portuguese. As a writer he has already authored several papers, but he rather prefer to give special emphasis to his "Biblical Hebrew Interlinear > Portuguese with transliteration into Portuguese" of central/southeast of Brazil. In his Interlinear he has accomplished the full books of Genesis and Ruth, plus a nice selection of various biblical chapters and texts, what makes up the 2nd edition of this work, which was published on the net in June 2011.
Gil'ead freely distributes his pioneering interlinear e-book by his personal e-mail address, which is: [email protected]. And, he states in the Preface of his work, that he hasn't had any intention to demerit the existing Bible translations or versions, and, that he had never in mind to make (one more!) full translation of the Bible into Portuguese; the aim of his Interlinear, he says, was just to provide the necessary aid for the Brazilian students of Biblical Hebrew, especially to those that don't feel themselves so easy in reading the vast material we have in the net, but, most of them in the English language.
Gil'ead states that he has endeavored to make clear, in the Preface of his work, about his biblical doctrines and personal convictions; but, he never fails to answer any questions or concerns whether it be about his work, in the contemplated Hebrew text, or not.

Gil'ead stresses, in the typical letter he uses to send the free e-book to those who requests it, that the price charged by the "Clube de Autores" is just the costs of printing and shipping the book; not a penny is kept as royalties or anything else to the author. Therefore, he says, the author shall not be liable at all for any problem with the acquisitions, or, with the shipment of the books via "Clube de Autores".
Enih Gil'ead is an earnest believer, but, also a well humored man and one of the favorite sayings of him has been: "I love the Lord, the Bible, my family, reading and writing... among many other good things in life, of course!"
