MohammadReza Sobhan
Consultant, Project Manager, and Architect in Tehran, Iran
I have started my professional life as an Architect assistant since 1999. In 2008, I established my own company “Enkido Architecture Workshop” in Qeshm free zone, Iran. During that time, I started studying MBA in order to improve my business and management skills. Since I was interested in entrepreneurship (my first startup was PArchitect, a professional Social Network, 2003-2005 and the second one was Mehraz, an interactive TV show, 2005) I started the startup “Kubeh”, a new startup that was a mobile platform for organizing advertisements. Kubeh became one of the winners of Pol entrepreneurship festival and I attended the iBridges conference, Berlin in 2016. This increased my interest in entrepreneurship world and as a result, I started my job in international association of Iranian Managers (i-aim), a nonprofit organization that aims to promote collaboration of Iranian academics living abroad with the scientific community in Iran as project manager. Since then, due to the interactive relationships with entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley and European startup cities, our small team has leaded many efficient projects to help setting up some knowledge based companies in Iran.
Our last project in i-aim, was planning and running of KnowTech Technopreneurship Center, a startup accelerator with the main purpose of training and empowering Iranian Young talented entrepreneurs in Tehran and Berlin.
