Jose Enrico Amante
Teacher, Web Developer, and Musician in Philippines
"Why is it important to do what feels right?" I spent my years in the Bicol province, which does not have access to a good music education. I started to learn music in school when I was 6 years old. Among others during my early childhood, I was enthusiastic about music. I was as good in music as I was in math. Music back then was more of a hobby but it changed when I took piano lessons here in Manila.
I started my classical music journey when I was an Engineering student in Adamson University taking up Computer Engineering. I love solving mathematical/logical problems, robotics, electronics and network architectures. Together with my thesis mates, We won the best thesis in our batch.
While in Engineering, Music has never left my heart and mind. This led me thinking on how to get further studies in music while I am practicing my web developing skills. Now, I am a 4th year student in UST Conservatory of Music majoring in piano. Aside from being a student, I have been an active piano teacher since 2019.
No one will live your life for you. Now, My educational attainment gives me credibility to develop technology related to music businesses (like Musician's Den). I would like to help you, other musicians and music teachers. And I would love to nurture the gift of music through online .
