Geoff Wilkinson

Perthshire, Scotland

From childhood I have had an interest in natural history and ecology. On completion of my academic studies I have aimed to gain employment in the environmental sector and to contribute toward biodiversity conservation.

I have worked for a variety of conservation organisations in both research and surveying capacities that have utilised my identification skills and knowledge of British habitats and ecosystems.

In addition I have been involved in many voluntary surveys across many taxa including Breeding Birds Survey and National Hoverfly Recording Scheme.

Since becoming a Freelance Entomologist I have provided helpful and informative services to government agencies, NGOs and other organisations seeking cost effective invertebrate conservation advice and identification tuition.
