Enya Lim

I am a singer, performer, and songwriter hailing from the tropical island state of Singapore. I can also arrange and produce.

As a singer, I have performed in instrumental/vocal ensembles focussing exclusively on styles including American jazz standards, Motown, Western African, Indian and musical theatre; I have also sung - mostly oldies and pop - with small acoustic and cover band configurations, and have a fair knowledge of liturgical as well as wedding entertainment music.My singing experiences have also familiarized me with recording vocals in the studio-solo or otherwise.

As a songwriter, my originals are best described as folk pop fusion, inspired by the quirk of Regina Spektor and raw honesty of Sara Bareilles' - fortified with an earnest dash of Simon and Garfunkel. My writing exposes perspectives on humanity and identity - motivated by diverse experiences collected from living abroad in England, Boston, and Valencia.
