I'm passionate about technology and it's application to common problems we would like solved. Coming from a background of systems engineering and development working on satellite decoder applications at Echostar UK, I have experienced and developed applications that creatively made use of limited system resources from a low-level to aid the pushing of program and marketing content to TV viewers. I spent 7 years after university working with Echostar UK, where I worked on a number of projects including a "DVI" interface, this then evolved to what is currently "HDMI", MHEG interface which runs a number of applications on the set-top box as well as develop a new modularized User Interface.
After coming to Ghana, I spent some time developing websites with Explainer DC, these sites where a step away from the usual content based sites moving towards web applications and packed with functionality. I have spent time privately advising people on website development and design based this experience.
My passion to work with mobile applications took off when I started working with Nandimobile, a startup, where I implemented a Software-As-A-Service application to help companies market themselves with campaigns which would go out over SMS. I met with other startups who were all moving to SMS and mobile applications. My move to Esoko seemed natural, I work with trending technology in Africa on applications that serve its user. Currently at Esoko we're developing exciting and useful tools on the Android and Java platforms to support the activities our users out in the field and still keep them interfacing with the Esoko platform whilst not forgetting the already existing SMS.
