Ephraim Emah
Consultant, Writer, and Project Manager in Yola, Adamawa State, Nigeria
Hey there, I’m Ephraim. I am a peacebuilding and development scholar-practitioner/professional with strategic interests in peacebuilding programmes. I have 6+ years of experience in the nonprofit sector in coordinating, designing, implementing, and supporting community-level engagements, conflict prevention and transformation, humanitarian and development projects, policy assessment, and strategic peacebuilding programmes in multi-cultural environments.
I have competence in working across cross-cultural environments and teams. I'm also an astute observer, researcher and writer, avid reader, conflict analyst and systems thinker who understands and applies the principles of humanitarian interventions and conflict sensitivity to peacebuilding programme design, implementation, policy engagements, and knowledge production.
My work, over the years, focuses on empowering youths and other local voice agencies, strengthening local capacities for peace, promoting good governance, designing and implementing peacebuilding projects, and preventing/countering violent extremism and radicalisation among youth. I am looking to strengthen my capacity through strategic partnerships, research, and organisational engagements that will increase my contribution to peacebuilding effectiveness and development across societies.
