René F. Najera

Rene works as an infectious disease epidemiologist most of the time. The rest of the time, he can be found at home with his family, on the road on his jeep, in a field playing soccer, writing something down, or napping. From a tiny school in Mexico, where he had to bring wood to help heat the classroom, Rene will attend a world-renowned university in the fall of 2013 in pursuit of a Doctor of Public Health degree.
