I started my career in radio with my own radio show at age 14. I was offered my first TV job in college while interning at CNN in Washington, hired as a writer. My mentors were the great Bernard Shaw and John Holiman, who made history covering the Gulf War live. I started my first on-air job the very day after I graduated college. I hosted several news/feature shows for a local cable station in the Tampa Bay area. From there, I landed a job at the CBS affiliate in Myrtle Beach, SC anchoring the 6 & 11 pm newscasts. Then, onto Grand Rapids Michigan to the top station, NBC affiliate reporting and anchoring there. Next, it was Tampa CBS affiliate WTSP 10 News where I worked anchoring and reporting for 10 years before starting my company. I have also free-lanced for CBS national news, ESPN, and PBS.
