Eran Tal - Fashion Photography

When you dating someone there is always that boring part where you have to present yourself, in order to skip this step I'll do it here. As my father taught me, never order the coffee together with the cake, if the date is awful, finish your coffee first and you don't have to struggle with the cake later... Well, I can't promise anything about the cake but here is my coffee:

My fashion and portrait photography is very much an extension of me so let me give you a snapshot of who lives behind the camera...

My name is Eran. I was born and raised in Israel in a small village near the Sea of Galilee.

At the age of six my family bought me my first camera. The first pictures I took were pasted on my bedroom walls. It was my first exhibition. One summer weekend, when my grandparents came to visit they bought all of those photos and I made my first $20 witch I put into a small wooden box, I thought it would be fun to bury it in the front yard...
I still can't find it.

At age of 21, after returning military service in a middle of bright day my mom brought home some old stuff from my grandmother's house. Among this treasured pile of possession there I found a dusty envelope with the pictures they had bought from me when I was 6. This defining moment inspired me to develop my inner artist and pursue photography so I applied to one of the prestigious studios in Tel Aviv, presenting this same dusty envelope of photos as my first portfolio. Amazingly, they said yes and the rest is history.

Since then I've had the privilege of studying under some of Israel's top photographers and have learned from their experience, advice and wisdom. I've developed my artistic eye as I've photographed in some of the most beautiful and romantic cities in the world including Paris, Rome, London, Los Angeles and Budapest.

I enjoy connecting with those on the other side of my camera and using my experience and skill not to just take a great picture, but to bring out the best side of the person I'm photographing.

Today I live in London and Hungary alternately and work mainly for modelling agencies, photographing for magazines, events and portraits.

I'm addicted to chocolate Nutella. I'm afraid of darkness and I still think there is a big monster under my bed.

I like to bake cakes.
