Emily Bailey

I am an art education student at UAB. I live with my aunt and brother in a town called Lincoln out past Pell City. I love food, my family, and am obsessed with the idea of "home" and what that means. I feel that home is attached to people not places, and to that extent I care a lot for my family and the memories we make together. A lot of my work stems from that idea of family and a sense of home. I chose this background image because I feel that it captures a family moment from my childhood, and defines a lot of the criteria that my work is based on.
