Erdener Kaynak was born in Sivas, Turkey. Due to his father's occupation he has travelled all around Turkey. Graduated from Istanbul University with a degree in Economics with concentration in Management and Public Finance. Obtained a Turkish Government Scholarship to complete Master's and doctoral degrees in marketing from University of Lancaster and Cranfield University. Four time recipient of Fulbright Senior Scholar Award. Prolific author, he has had 25 books and over 200 articles published.
