Erexbeatz

Edward Elysee, better known as "Eddy Cheeba" and Industry name "Erexbeatz", is a Haitian Italian bred multi-talented experienced Hip Hop and R&B music producer, consultant and song writer. Growing up in the streets of Hollis Queens, New York it was early on Eddy Cheeba learned to play music by ear, it was then he realized his purpose and passion in life. Raised by a single mom, music was his escape from the drugs, the violence and the poverty in the streets and his instrument of expression. Cheeba spent much of his time at his local community center, it was there he picked up his love for music and art, "it kept me out of trouble" he remembers. His natural raw talent and his creative ability to artistically deliver his original music producing talents is what separated him from the rest. Erexbeatz got his start producing for East Coast Hip Hop artists in the mid 1990s. He was introduced to the industry by Dana "Da Rockwilder" Stinson, who he would later team up with to collaborate on many projects.

Notable music producer Dr. Dre was Eddy Cheeba's earliest inspiration. Cheeba's first accounts with Dr. Dre proved to be motivating when he endorsed Eddy Cheeba and purchased one of his earliest beats created for one of his artists "Brooklyn aka Flawless" at the time. "You have what it takes, never give up", Cheeba recalls Dre saying to him. Dre ignited his career and propelled him into stardom with his words of encouragement.

Eddy Cheeba is a well seasoned producer with 20 years of experience in the music industry working with a diverse roster of successful artists and entertainment managers. Cheeba has worked with select artists and music industry moguls such as Eric Sermon, Randy Hoffman, Russell Simmons, Redman, Method Man, Janet Jackson, Beyonce, Yummy Bingham, Jay Z,Maxwell, P. Diddy, and many more.
