Eric A. Mayberry IV
Tallahassee, FL
I grew up in the Webster/Clear Lake/League City area of Texas. I graduated from Clear Creek High School in 1996.
I am currently a programming student at Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University at Tallahassee, FL. My degree is in Computer Systems under Computer Information Systems which is part of the College of Science and Technology. I am also a veteran of the United States Navy, for which I served 6 honorable years (1999-2003) as a Fire Controlman. Once I separated from the US Navy, I made my way to North Florida to work as an Industrial Electrician. I worked as an Industrial Electrician for 5 years at BASF Catalyst, and for about a year at Georgia-Pacific. In Fall of 2009 I began my educational career at Tallahassee Community College. In Fall of 2011, I earned my Associates of Arts Degree from TCC. In Spring of 2012, I transferred to FAMU to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering. During my first semester at FAMU, while taking prerequisites, I took a class called Fundamentals of Programming, which introduced me to the world of C++ programming. It was while I was taking this class when I discovered my love of programming. Since then I have become quite the code junkie, although I still have a lot to learn, I love just sitting behind a computer keyboard punching out code.
