Eric Clark
Staffing Specialist in Saint Charles, Missouri
I recently began working with Tai-Chi Consulting as a Sales & Talent Acquisition Specialist. While this change was unexpected, the more I learn the job and industry the more excited I am for the opportunities it presents.
Over the last year I struggled with unhappiness in my IT career. I felt stuck on this path after roughly a dozen years in the field seeing little possibility for growth or a fulfilling future. I wanted something with better prospects for myself, my career and my ability to provide for my family.
During this time Mariejoe met with our friend, Bing Dempewolf, to learn about her new company, Tai-Chi Consulting. We have known Bing for many years; our kids go to the same school and are friends and we share connections through mutual acquaintances. After that meeting, Mariejoe was adamant that they could help me move forward in my career.
Tai-Chi’s approach is truly unique being both personalized and applicable to everyone. They strive to provide valuable guidance, knowledge & skills to help people learn to manage their careers. Much more info is available at http://www.tai-chiconsulting.com/.
I spent 7+ years practicing the martial art Kuk Sool Won learning as both a student and instructor much of that knowledge transfers to this new career. As with KSW, I also have instructors here to teach and guide me. Bing as CEO brings 30+ years in Human Resources and her partner Tom Taylor as COO brings another 40+ years in HR as well as Talent Acquisition. Having that kind of talent and experience to tap into on this new journey is tremendous.
Finally, I’d like to ask a favor, to help me be successful I need referrals. If you know of people looking to make a career transition like I did, those looking for a job or open to making a change have them contact me or send me their resume. Also, I would love to speak with companies looking to hire people, struggling to find good candidates or fill openings to see how we can help them. Otherwise, feel free to drop me a note and let me know your thoughts on Tai-Chi and my new career.
