I love creating, making something from nothing, grabbing an idea and forming it into something that shines, moves, and works. Whether it takes shape in a commercial ad, a short film, a song, an engine, or the perfect loaf of bread, the outcome requires vision, work, and dedication to the concept that got it going.
I followed my heart and studied video production at CSU Monterey Bay, where I earned a B.A. in Teledramatic Arts & Technology. I then put my education to work for Charter Media, first as a Producer/Director, creating effective local cable commercials, and then as the Creative Services Supervisor, where I managed all facets of the production process. There I learned the nuts and bolts of producing a commercial, but I also learned how to clearly communicate with clients and coworkers to keep projects and ideas moving forward. From there I took on the role of Tech Director for Grace Central Coast, helping them transition from a single campus to a video based multisite church with three physical campuses and one virtual campus.
I've taken my experience in the commercial realm and made it work for me as a creative videographer, editor, and hobby filmmaker. And when I'm not working on a video project, say, about Lego space exploration, you might find me preparing my car for the track, building a scale model car, playing guitar, taking a walk with my family, or just making dinner. Every day is a feast for the glad at heart.
Let's make something.
