Eric Freeman

Eric Freeman is a Liberian gospel reggae artist, songwriter, and pastor, Instrumentalist known for blending reggae rhythms with powerful Christian messages. Born in Tubmanburg, Bomi County, Eric discovered his passion for music early, learning bass guitar at 14 and performing in school talent shows. He began his professional music journey as a reggae singer and bassist for the band "Stable Stars," inspired by legends like Bob Marley and Lucky Dube.

His first studio album, Revolution, was recorded following a successful audition arranged through industry connections. However, a life-changing spiritual encounter led him to dedicate his music to God, marking a bold transition into gospel reggae—a genre not widely accepted in Liberia at the time.

Eric’s debut gospel reggae album Born to Win opened doors for live performances at major venues like Monrovia City Hall. Though pastoral duties took precedence over the years, he returned to music in 2024, releasing new singles and embracing modern gospel platforms. His song Iriein the Holy Ghost earned him the Celesta Award for Best Gospel Reggae Artist.

His discography includes:
Liberia is My Home, New Liberia, Born to Win, Born to Prosper, Christian Soldier, Irie in the Holy Ghost, The Rapture, Rich and Powerful, and unreleased singles Destiny and Change My Life.
