Eric James

My name is Eric James. I am married and live in a small town about 75 miles west of Chicago, IL. My wife and I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and decided to buy a "fixer upper" with the intentions to sell and move back toward the city, closer to family and friends. 10 years later, we are still in the "fixer upper" and hope to sell soon.

I recently changed paths from working in the water conditioning industry as a service tecnician to becoming a network administrator at a plumbing supply distributor. The recent economic downturn created an oportunity to return to school to complete a degree in Business Information Technology. My responsibilities at my job include ensuring a variety of technology needs are met and maintaining the computer network.

On my downtime, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I like to build and create computer systems. I enjoy relaxing on the couch, watching TV and surfing the internet. My favorite shows are Family Guy and Big Bang Theory.

So I guess you could say... I am a nerd!
