Eric Lent

The Hershey Company’s Eric Lent has established himself as an insightful marketing executive, having also spent time with prominent international firms Eastman Kodak and S.C. Johnson. At present, Eric Lent serves as Chief Marketing Officer of Herscend Family Entertainment, a leading company in the family entertainment sector whose mission is to create memories worth repeating. Prior to this, he was Vice President, Global Marketing Excellence and Strategy, for the Hershey Company. Eric Lent was selected for the position in 2009, where he enhanced the company's performance in terms of marketing strategy, programming, and communications. In this role, Eric Lent drew on his previous position as Vice President, Global Traditional Trade. Eric utilized his strategic insight and leadership to develop a winning business model that drove penetration against the billions of consumers in Hershey’s Global markets and achieved significant successes. Prior to his time as Vice President, Global Traditional Trade, Eric Lent accomplished a 15% sales increase at Hershey Canada, where he was Vice President and General Manager of the $450-million Hershey subsidiary. Eric Lent also exceeded 2004 business-plan sales by more than $88 million as Director of Hershey, Peter Paul, and Portfolio Chocolates. Equally exceptional results mark Eric Lent’s background in marketing with S.C. Johnson. Eric Lent extended the company’s Glade Candle Scents product line into the aromatherapy market and secured 52 weeks of category leadership for the Drano brand. Eastman Kodak’s revenues boomed while Eric Lent spent time in various marketing roles throughout the company. A consistent top performer, Eric Lent also elicits excellence in his employees. Eric Lent attended Towson University in Baltimore, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1991 and was honored with the Dean’s Recognition Award from the College of Business and Economics for academic achievement. Completing additional graduate coursework at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Eric Lent also attended the Hershey Executive Leadership Development Program.
