My name is Eric Lochtefeld, and I am a proud millennial who has spent my life in the Celina area. I graduated from Celina High School and Tri Star, which gave me a deep appreciation for our local education system and the potential of our community. Over the years, my interest in local development and public service has grown, and I have always felt a strong connection to the place I call home.

I enjoy addressing the challenges that our community faces, particularly the trend of young, educated individuals leaving for areas with higher population density. It concerns me that Celina, like many rural communities, is losing its brightest and most innovative residents to larger cities. I believe we can change this by creating more opportunities for professional growth and ensuring that Celina remains an appealing place to live, work, and raise a family.

I am involved in various community initiatives that support the well-being and success of our residents. I’ve spent time as a board member for local organizations, and I strive to be an advocate for all members of our community, whether they are long-time residents or newcomers.
