I am a tech enthusiast with visions of starting my own business. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, I have seen firsthand the power of entrepreneurship to impact communities. I believe that by starting my own business centered on the cutting edge of technology, I can help change the way people live and work.
Since graduating with my Master's in Computer Science at Rice, I have built my technical, analytical, and leadership skills first as an Accenture management consultant and more recently as an Assistant Vice President in Citi's Commodities Technology Division. I have also continued to pursue my passion for tech through personal projects, including creating and releasing my own Android applications. I hope to pursue my MBA to build on these experiences and gain the tools I need to fulfill my vision of starting my own tech company.
Outside of work, I spend part of my free time getting involved in the community, where I am an active volunteer of non-profits such as Junior Achievement and the Prison Entrepreneurship Program. To relax and unwind, I like to travel – enjoying scenic views and learning about different cultures. In recent years, I have been fortunate enough to cruise down the Seine River in the gorgeous city of Paris and tour the historical villages of the Naxi ethnic group in Lijiang, China. I hope to continue traveling the world and sharing the unique perspectives I have gained from these experiences.
