Eric Peters is a recent graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he obtained both a Bachelors degree and a Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering. During his graduate studies with the Space Systems Laboratory, he has designed structures and mechanisms for ESPA-class satellites, CubeSats, and an X-Ray spectrometer payload.

He has presented at numerous conferences, including the AIAA/USU Conference on Small Satellites, the MEA Aerospace Mechanisms Symposium, and the MIT Lincoln Laboratory Mechanical Engineering Technology Symposium.

Eric is also a veteran member of the MIT Rocket Team and has been involved in several high-powered rocketry (HPR) projects. In recent years has served as a mentor to the undergraduate students on the team.
