I'm the Coordinator for Adult Programs and Partnerships at the DC Public Library. I have over 14 years in professional library service in both technical services and public services, and three years in library management. I excel in experimental environments and love looking for new ways to innovate in library services.

Notable achievements:

2014: Appointed to Adult Career Pathways Task Force by District of Columbia Mayor Vincent Gray.

2013: Coordinator for Muslim Journeys at DCPL, with 10 community partners and over 30 programs across the city.

2012: Volunteer Librarian for the Open Hearth Foundation Library.

2011: Guest lecturer at Wuhan University School of Information Management, Wuhan, China.

2010: Awarded Library Journal Mover and Shaker for innovation in library programming.
