Eric Sanders

Eric Sanders, of Newport Beach, California, has over 20 years of experience in marketing, management, and sales in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Mr. Sanders currently leverages his talents on behalf of Allergan, Inc., manufacturers of BOTOX®, their flagship product. Mr. Sanders recently received a promotion and joined the Corporate Development group, functioning as the Senior Director of Alliance Management. In his new role, Mr. Sanders manages the relationships with outside research and development partnerships that stem from Allergan's business development efforts.

Eric Sanders first joined Allergan in 2001 as the Senior Product Manager for BOTOX®. After two years of successfully coordinating advertising campaigns with outside public-relations firms, creative teams, and educational outreach initiatives, he transitioned into the role of National Director of Reimbursement Operations and, later, Senior National Director of Reimbursement and Hospital Operations. There, Mr. Sanders guided the efforts of a 50-person staff, divided into three field teams that covered the United States. Mr. Sanders' teams worked on the reimbursement process, educated medical students conducting their residencies, and sought expansion opportunities through increased product penetration in hospitals.

Eric Sanders would go on to serve Allergan as the Senior Director of U.S. Marketing and the Senior Director of Global Strategic Marketing, his most recent position prior to the promotion. Before working at Allergan, Mr. Sanders held an executive marketing position at Genentech and operated in sales, sales management, and marketing capacities with Parke-Davis.

In completing a Master of Business Administration from Sacramento State University and a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Utah, Eric Sanders excelled in his academics and earned induction to the Phi Kappa Phi, Psi Chi, and Golden Key honor societies. A member of the LDS Church, Mr. Sanders actively participates in church-sponsored charitable efforts and is engaged in his local community.
